Temporary Place of Interest: Grocer's Corner
The Grocer's Corner is a temporary area that will drop the different items needed in each recipe. For example, it will drop Vanilla Bean, which you will need in Phase 1.
If you are at least level 13, you will see a pop-up inviting you to the World Food Festival! You will need to force close the game to see the update, which means to clear it from your mobile device's memory. You may even need to reboot your device.
Note: You will need to reach level 14 to unlock phase 3, and level 18 to play phases 4 and 5.
Find and complete the special World Food Festival event items on or before 8/3/2016 to get the exclusive, limited-time Truffle Dog!
Phase 1 Final rewards: 1 nail, 3 speed sail, 5 golden gloves
Quests: A French Connection 1 of 3
A world famous chef is coming to the farm to work on some new recipes she has discovered in her travels. She is opening a new restaurant, and wants to try out her new recipes with farm fresh ingredients.
New items and where to get it:
Phase 1: Vanila Beans - Grocer's Corner, Grandma's Glade, Pappy's Pond, Merryweather Mine, Mallard Mill or Pier
Visit the Kitchen once
Make 3 Straw Totes
Send Farm Hands to the Grocer's Corner once
Phase 1 Event Recipes and where to make them:
Apple Pie - Windmill
Carrot Cake - Windmill
Strawberry Shortcake - Dairy
Creme Brulee - Stovetop
Straw Tote - Windmill. This ingredient can also be made in the other phases of the event.
The XP reward is determined by what level your farm is at during the completion of the quest.

Collect 10 Eggs
Gather 10 Vanilla Beans
Make 5 Creme Brulees
