FarmVille 2 Country Escape: Taste of Ireland & Show Pigs

 Get ready Farmers, the Taste of Ireland event is almost here. Visit your mobile game center for the newest update to FarmVille 2 Country Escape.This new event would debut at the absolute earliest sometime this Wednesday but it's subject to change at any time. Here's what to expect:

What's New in  FV2CE Version  6.5.1262

• ADVANCE through 5 phases to earn rewards like Keys, Nails & more.

From what we can tell it will be a crafting event.

FV2CE's Show Pigs Feature

Not much has been mentioned about this latest feature but I have received information from a friend as to what it may entail. Note: Please keep in mind this is subject to change in many ways when this feature reveals fully. The information is based on what was available during beta testing.

The basics is that together with a fellow farmer friend you will raise a pig together. This will start off from the showbooth where one of you purchases the pig you'd like to take care of. The idea is to feed it until it's as heavy as it can get!

Show Pigs Rewards

The more it grows the more you will need to feed it with orders you will need to fill to sustain its appetite.  After a few days have passed then it's time to weigh your pig.  Here is where the weight will matter as the heavier it is then the better the rewards.

For example: A light-weight pig earns you coins and a heavy pig earns you keys. If your pig happens to become a behemoth then you earn an accessory for it to wear like a hat or scarf.

You'll find the Showpigs next to the Big Top tent where you exchange ribbons.

Possible Show Pig features

One of the things discussed was the various pigs you collect will wander about your farm to keep you company and to make your farm feel special. Different interactions may become available such as petting your pig. Seasonal events could also have premium & unique pigs as final rewards.

It seems that at Level 28 you'll first unlock the feature. Zynga is still working on rolling it out. Meanwhile look forward to the excavation feature that should be rolling out to your farm soon. I'll post more on that later.

And that's about it for what we do know until the feature is rolled out. In a nutshell: Keep raising pigs with other friends and try to collect them all!
