FarmVille 2 Country Escape is ushering in the holidays with a leaderboard event. Nothing says 'Happy Seasons' than Zynga promoting an event that exudes high levels of stress and fierce competition among family and friends. Hmm then again, that may well be the very picture of a crazy family(complete with in-laws) holiday get together.
The FV2CE Snowball Leaderboard Event
If you are level 12 a message stating 'Tap to Start the Event' will be on the left bottom side of your screen. Tap it to begin.
A yellow arrow will point you to the event center. Tap on that area to pull up the next screen.
The Snowball Fight event starts on November 22, 2017 and ends on December 3, 2017. There are two rounds to play. Stage 1 starts on Nov. 22nd and ends on Nov.27th. And then the second round begins on Nov.28th and ends on Dec.3rd. If you win a gold rank in either stage you'll earn Daze Ablaze,a permanent farmhand dog.
Golden and Silver Snowflake Boost
Boosts will cost either gold coins or keys. The first time you enter the event the Gold Snowflake(which normally costs keys) will be free for one use only. The next time it will be available for keys.
Special Farm Key Offers
During the leaderboard event you'll see random offers from Zynga appearing. The prices for the keys are random and dependent on how much you typically spend as a player. For a few friends, they told me that the prices seem to get higher with each new advertisement.

Snowball Fight Quests - For First Round
These quests will change for the second round. I typically don't do these types of guides for the leaderboard events because of how short and random they can be for each player. At any rate, tap on the green button to: go, Go, GO!
Snowball Fight: 1 of 6
- Visit Snow Park once
- Use a Boost
- Earn 250 Snow points
Once the quest is completed you'll be awarded 50 bonus Snow Points. Make sure you're connected to the internet or the points will be lost.
Sometimes you will fill up a bonus bar with your Snow Points that awards a picnic basket. The contents are random.
My reward is 600 Snow Points. The second time I received a few gold coins.
Start off the next part in the mini quest by tapping on the green button. Completely irrelevant and random but is it me or is this NPC(non-player character) extremely ugly? I mean, that gray stuff is supposed to be stubble but its just awful on him. And those eyes...take a look at the picture below to see what I mean. xD
Snowball Fight: 2 of 6
- Find 2 Nutmeg
- Find 2 Raisins
- Harvest/Buy 10 Cow Milk
Note: Best place teo find both nutmeg and raisins at the same time is at the Snowy Park.
Once the quest is completed you'll be awarded 100 bonus Snow Points.
Make sure you're connected to the internet or the points will be lost. I found that out the hard way... sobs!

Due to making the Eggnog ahead of time I somehow ended up being fast-forwarded to the end of the third quest and straight to the reward screen which is pictured above.
You'll earn 200 Snow Points for doing whatever it was that the 3rd quest required. Apologies for not having the picture!

- Find 5 Nutmeg
- Craft 2 Eggnog
- Craft 3 Nutmeg Butter
The Snow Points just keep coming as you complete the quests. Though keep in mind that the quest requirements start getting higher and harder.
Here again, I filled up the Picnic Basket meter with the Snow Points I earned and was awarded 5000 gold coins. I prefer the reward to be solely in Snow Points but extra gold isn't too bad either.
The final part to the quest begins when you tap on the green button.

- Use 2 Boosts(either will work)

Apologies again! I'm super swamped with work I feel as if I'm running around like the walking dead! But I did manage to not mess up too badly and got the final pictures of the first phase of the FarmVille 2 Country Escape Leaderboard event. The second phase has already begun as well as a holiday story that you'll want to focus your attention on straight-away.
Snowball Fight Finale and Reward
A group of farmhands gather together to toss snowballs in their hands. Confetti then POPS into the air and they cheer while watching it.
If you placed in the Top 5 of the Snowball Fight you will have won Daze Snowfazed. If you continue on to the second round and place in the top five again then he will upgrade. Should you come late to the party the 2nd phase will still award you the permanent farmhand but only if you place at the top 5. Don't be discouraged if it seems impossible. There's the holiday quest to consider and that in itself is a challenge as well or you can choose to play the normal mode for prizes.
Daze as he is now will act like a regular farmhand. If you upgrade him then he'll probably bring extra quartz or tin or fish(depending on Zynga's whims). The second round has begun using similar recipes with a few added new ones. Remember to use your boosts when you can and "X" out any orders that take too long or give too few points.
